Photos for every season
I document families across Maine at every stage — from new beginnings to gathered generations — creating heirloom photographs rooted in real experiences to form a lasting record of your family and chronicle what time will inevitably change.

Redefining heirloom photography
Today’s portraits are reimagined from the early paintings. They used to be still, formal and composed over hours to preserve a single likeness for generations.
But the modern heirloom portrait isn’t a stiff pose against a backdrop. It’s your daughter climbing that one pine with the low branch, pitch sticking to her feet. Your son mid-air, cape imagined. Bare feet in the Atlantic. Mud on the hem of a dress. Arms flung around a grandfather in a field at dusk. Movement you can almost hear years later. Light that reminds you why you choose to live where the sun rises first.
The photos we pass down today don’t just show how we looked. They show how we lived.

And heirloom photos don’t belong in a vault.
They belong in albums worn soft at the corners, in gallery walls that grow with the seasons, in single frames that quietly anchor a room.
I walk families through the entire process — from planning a meaningful session to deciding exactly where and how these images will live.
