Hermit Island Camping

We planned to spend two nights camping in tents at Hermit Island Campground, but bailed after lunch the second day because of the coming rain. The first night we walked a short way through the campground to a beautiful beach where the girls walked in the water and looked through rocky tide pools. The next day we took a long walk across the island to another beautiful beach. We brought our Veer Wagon which was utilized by most of the kids at different times but mostly the youngest three. After the walk we ate lunch at our campsite and then packed up because rain was coming. Ruth was almost 2 and Adi was almost 4, along with Kati and I, also my brother, wife and 3 nieces (ages 3, 6 and 8) were with us.
