Mount Battie Autumn Sunrise
We spent one night in tents at Camden Hills State Park. We arrived mid afternoon, set up camp and walked around the campground with Adi (4yo) and Ruth (2yo) waiting for two friends to arrive. We had a great night cooking, eating and hanging by the fire. The next morning we woke up well before sunrise, made coffee, loaded the girls in our Veer Wagon and walked up the Mount Battie Auto Road, which was significantly more difficult than I thought it would be. At the top we watched the sunrise, took pictures, ate snacks, and climbed the stone tower. After walking back to our campsite, we packed up and left.
