Bethel Family Adventure

We planned to spend two nights in a tent at Bethel Outdoor Adventure Campground, but bailed after one night. Ruth (2yo) came down with a fever and despite being a trooper it was just too much so we headed home the next day after going for a long walk in the morning. There is a steel cable suspension foot bridge that leads from the campground to Hastings Island where there is a short walking trail. Adi (4yo) and Ruth both bravely walked the bridge on their own and both went swimming in the river. It was a cool spot except that a train came by running its whistle at 2am and 4am… which no one had mentioned to us. This family campground does also not offer refunds for cancellations.
